Goals and Objectives

We are a state and federally certified substance abuse clinic located in San Antonio, TX. We have 2 doctors, 3 nurses, and a counselor on staff.

The Physicians are certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Both physicians are experienced in substance abuse care and are active members of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Prices:

Intake-75$ (includes medical exam, blood tests & urine drug screen)

Daily- $10 (includes daily methadone, counseling, and medical exams)

Goals and Objectives

• STOP-SA believes that addiction to heroin and other opiates (including prescribed pain medicines) should be managed as a disease. (like hypertension or diabetes) Our mission is to help our clients overcome these addictions. We dispense both methadone and buprenorphine to reduce the craving for opiates.

• We acknowledge that there are successful programs promoting detoxification and abstinence. When these methods are not effective, medical intervention is required.

• We treat all clients with dignity and respect their privacy. STOP-SA is HIPAA compliant.

• Our goal is to improve your quality of life. In doing this our staff physicians address both medical and psychiatric problems. Our policy is to assist referring physicians in substance abuse care with consultative or dispensing services.

• We accept Cash and Visa/Master Card.

• In our efforts to benefit the community as a whole, we have started a non-profit organization (COPE) that focuses on adolescent drug abuse.
